This is a sketch that I did that I created by not looking at what I was drawing and just drawing the lines that I saw. That is why it is upside down so it would be easier to not know what I was drawing.

Principles of Design

To help illustrate the principles of design I created a poster that had definitions of each of the principles that I came up with by looking at a bunch of different definitions. Then I found images from the Victorian era that matched the definitions that I came up with and then described how the images met the criteria of my definition. Finally, I wrote a sentence using the term in the sentence, in a way that could be used to describe a design, a room, or a building.

Elements of Design

I created this poster to showcase the different elements of design through images from the Victorian era. First, I came up with definitions for all of the different elements and then I found images that fit my definitions. To find my images I looked in both books and also online to find images that I felt best represented the definitions that I came up with. Then, I described the images that I selected and how they fit the definition that I came up with. Finally, I used the different elements in a sentence that was pertaining to design.
