For this drawing I started off using a grid that was already made and then I added my own elements to it. I started by adding the large wooden beam in the middle to help separate the entrance from the check-in desk. Then I wanted to add the large windows on the side for light and then created window seats for additional seating. I added the large ottoman in the middle for additional seating as well but also because it kept the space very open. The goal of this design was to create a very warm and welcoming space and I think I achieved that through the use of natural colors and also the use of light.
